The Cave of Darkness - Erebos' Lab

Welcome to my lab where I hope to answer any Pokémon-related questions you may have on anything from Breeding and Training to Pokémon Movesets and Battle Strategy.

As a battler and breeder myself, I know most things about the the games and so, if you need any help on anything, post below and I'll try to help.



As a Professor, I'll be giving away Starters to those who need them. To celebrate the recent release of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, I'll be giving away the Johto Starters - Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chikorita.


Below are the Johto starters along with their evolutionary chains:



Here's some more info on each individual Johto starter pokemon:


Cyndaquil is the fire-type starter and is capable of defending itself by using the fire on its back. The fire grows more powerful as the Cyndaquil becomes more angry or defensive. Cyndaquil are usually timid, but its actual behavior depends on its personality. It lives in groups and tends to hide in dangerous situations.



Chikorita is the grass-type starter and is able to create vines and leaves to attack with. The leaf on its head has the ability to check the temperature and humidity of the surrounding air. Chikorita, like many Grass Pokémon, are very docile and prefer to avoid fights by using the aromatherapeutic properties of the large leaf on its head.



Totodile is the water-type starter and has powerful jaws for a Pokemon of its size. Totodile have a genuine playfulness about them and a habit of biting anything they see. Totodile are always ready for a good laugh and a joke too. There is a tough side to Totodile though, as it can quickly react to difficult situations in a battle.

Thanks Goldwriter! The white text looked cool on the black background we used to have but since we've brightened things up here, I guess it can be hard to read! lol.

As Goldwriter said, it is a general help topic. Also, since it's a professor's lab, I thought it would be a good idea to follow in-game tradition and give away some starter pokemon to those who want them.

hmmm I kinda need chikorita and totodile currently if u have some extra eggs erebos also whats that poke in the middle on ur sig? XD

I have finished breeding the starter Pokemon that everyone wanted so far:

Youby - Chikorita and Totodile
Bonzo - Totodile
Superman910 - Chikorita and Totodile
